Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Inc. (LAWO), a non-profit law firm that serves low-income individuals and groups, seeks to fill a paralegal position to assist attorneys in a new project addressing issues arising from the opioid crisis. The position can be based in LAWO's Toledo, Sandusky, or Findlay office. This position requires extensive outreach and collaboration with community-based partners. Commitment to legal services for low-income persons; strong legal research and writing skills; and ability to relate well with low-income clients required. Paralegal experience preferred. Travel will be required. Applicant should have excellent organizational and communication skills, be computer proficient, and work well in a team environment. Fluency in Spanish preferred but not required. Salary based on relevant experience. Comprehensive benefits.
