Development and Communications Manager

An Achievable Dream seeks a Development & Communications Manager.

Reporting to the Director of PR and Marketing, the Development and Communications Manager will manage important aspects of AAD’s event, communication and development work with a specific focus on promotion, event management, and content creation. The Development and Communications Manager will be responsible for ensuring AAD touchpoints (including events, materials, online presence) are of the highest and most compelling quality to support AAD’s development and brand-building work.

Special Event Support

• Support planning and execution of AAD’s special event logistics including event management details, event set up, registration, etc
• Support (and lead in some cases) special event promotion, outreach and tracking of event attendance
• Manage event follow up including thank you, tracking event debrief, post-event promotion, etc
• Support fundraising aspects of major events including silent auction, live auction, sponsorships as needed
• Work closely with Development Associate to ensure all relevant event data is tracked and managed in database.

Development Support

• Support grant proposal and report writing by drafting high quality drafts for Director of Development 
• Craft AAD progress reports twice a year for use with donors
• Support other content and presentation needs for development as needed including one-pagers, collateral development, presentations, etc
