Senior HR Generalist
We are currently seeking a proven, high performing, HR professional to fill a key HR Generalist role at Annie Selke reporting to the VP of HR. In this dynamic and fast-paced role you will partner and collaborate with HR colleagues, managers and the Senior Leadership Team to understand the business strategies and objectives while applying HR solutions in a proactive manner, consistent with the Company vision and mission. The ability to build relationships, coach and influence leaders, exercise good judgment and work effectively across the Company is important in this role. This role will also be tasked to lead one or more projects which could fall under Compensation, Recruiting & Staffing, Training or other disciplines.
Responsibilities include:
Must Have: Bachelor's degree and 7+ years applicable experience or Master's degree and 3+ years of applicable experience. Ability to build effective working relationships with a broad range of styles at all levels in the organization. Must be innovative, agile and a strong change agent who seeks opportunities for improvement. Strong organizational/follow-up skills and ability to prioritize and drive multiple and diverse tasks to closure. Results orientation and a focus on meeting deadlines. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written and oral. Lead the 5 stages of the Employee Lifecycle (Recruit, Onboard, Retain, Leaves, and Off boarding). Provide support to managers and their teams to increase understanding and application of the various stages. Translate Company and HR strategies and initiatives into actionable project plans. Educate managers and employees on HR policy, processes and practice to ensure effective and timely execution and compliance with policies. Actively support the Site Safety Committee and other committees as needed. Effectively resolve employee relation issues through partnership and influence with managers and employees. Complete reports using EXCEL and HR Software to turn data into insight, intelligence, and action. Provide back-up for Payroll and Benefit Administration as needed.
