Assistant Teaching Professor BGSU
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics and Bowling Green State University invites applications for two renewable Assistant Teaching Professor (non-tenure-track) positions with a start date of August 2024. The primary duty of both positions is to teach Foundational Mathematics courses, particularly college algebra and quantitative reasoning, in our Math Emporium.
Minimum Qualifications: Master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, or in a closely related field (e.g., mathematics education) conferred at the time of application; experience teaching college algebra or a quantitative reasoning/literacy course as a TA.
Preferred Qualifications: Doctoral degree in mathematics, statistics, or in a closely related field (e.g., mathematics education) conferred at the time of application; experience teaching college algebra or quantitative reasoning/literacy as an instructor of record; experience teaching in a Math Emporium; experience teaching elementary statistics as an instructor of record; experience teaching an online course.
