Certified Municipal Finance Officer
The Borough of Paulsboro in Gloucester County is seeking a highly qualified individual for the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO).
Paulsboro is a small community with a population of approximately 6000 located on the Delaware River.
The Borough of Paulsboro delivers a full range of services to the community via a $8.6 million municipal budget and $1.9 million utilities budget.
The CFO will be responsible for all municipal finance governmental functions, including all state requirements as well as the preparation and the oversight of the general ledger, municipal budget, payroll, pension reports, bank reconciliations, grants, purchasing and escrow accounts management.
Applicants must possess:
- A valid NJ Certified Municipal Finance Officer license
- Minimum of two (2) years local government experience
- Qualified Purchasing Agent a plus
- Experience with Edmunds, Excel and Word is required.
- In addition to the required financial skills, good communication and interpersonal skills are important for this position.
Although Full Time is preferred, we will entertain Part Time or shared services inquiries.
