Certified Medication Aide (Full-time)
Job Description
Under the clinical supervision of the manager of residential facilities the primary responsibilities are to develop and implement individual program plans, serve as an advocate and role model for all group home clients, plan and supervise client activities, assist clients in adjusting to community expectations, document observations and the results of all interventions, uphold client rights including the right to confidentiality and maintain the group home.

Qualifications
Completion of a state approved Medication Aide Course. HS Diploma or equivalent. Experience working with persons with mental illness, ability to teach, train and model the skills necessary for clients to pursue more independent living. Valid IA drivers license and proof of insurance. Ability to obtain CDL within first 30 days of employment. Ability to administer and document medication administration accurately.
