Mental Health Worker/C.N.A. - Float
Assists registered nurses in direct care of patients, specifically patients’ activities of daily living. Insures a safe and therapeutic environment on the unit through observation monitoring, interacting and providing/assisting in groups. As a Nursing Assistant duly registered in the state of Rhode Island, consistently performs the following duties under the supervision of a professional nurse.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any of the social sciences preferred.
Training and Experience: experience in working with mentally ill clients.
Special Qualifications: Excellent communication skills.
