Mental Health Worker (LCDP)
A Mental Health Worker/LCDP is a non-medical member of the nursing department whose function is to coordinate and implement the direct care of substance abuse/dual diagnosis patients in the ADTS-PH. Responsibilities also include co-leading groups, providing individual substance abuse counseling, participating in individualized treatment plans for the patient, and assisting the patient in follow-up and relapse prevention planning under the direct supervision of the nurse manager or designee.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in any of the social sciences preferred.. LCDP required.
Training and Experience: Experience in working with mentally ill clients. Ability to multi-task Special.
Qualifications: Excellent communication skills. Ability to work with others in a collaborative manner. Creative and flexible.
