The Pharmacy Manager coordinates and supervises the daily pharmacy operation, including duties such as job assignment, scheduling training, and ensuring that departmental goals are accomplished with a high level of precision and accuracy. The incumbent also oversees the drug use evaluation program and group purchasing for the pharmacy.
Bachelors Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy required, advanced degree preferred. Must have hospital residency and meet current RI Pharmacy licensure requirements. Two to five years hospital pharmacy experience or equivalent needed with demonstrated abilities and knowledge of all aspects of pharmacy operations.
