Phlebotomist
Job Summary:
Responsible for performing all forms of phlebotomy procedures on any age level conducting testing by physicians and forwarding of results to doctors with accuracy, speed, and confidentiality. Obtain blood samples by performing venipunctures, finger sticks and heel sticks on any age level. Use aseptic techniques and follow established procedures. Enter patient information and test information into the computer making any necessary corrections or changes.
Requirements: A high school diploma and a minimum of six months job-related experience or equivalent is required. All employees hired during or after 2012 must-have Phlebotomy certification.
