RESPONSIBILITIES
This professional position evaluates the accuracy and reliability of funded agencies financial and operating information, as well as assesses the effectiveness of their internal controls as it pertains to the execution of CSC contract requirements. The position is responsible for conducting nonprofit entities (audited and interim-unaudited) financial statements ratio trend and spending pattern analysis, in addition to periodically conducting internal CSC performance audits. Prepares audit risk assessment plans to ensure legal, procedural, and operational contract compliance, and validates the financial accountability of funded agencies for all expenses reimbursed. Prepares organized, accurate and competent work papers and exhibits high proficiency at writing final audit reports ensuring documentation clearly supports the conclusions reached for each audit objective. The Audit and Compliance Department provides contract oversight of CSC’s funded agencies as well as the internal audit function within the CSC.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, supplemented by four (4) to six (6) years auditing, accounting, or other contract compliance and/or financial data analytics experience.
Knowledge/Skills:
CIA; CPA; CQA; CRMA; CGAP; CCEP or comparable certifications preferred
Understanding of the COSO Internal Control and the IPPF Integrated Framework
Experience using/applying audit/data analytics to audit risk plan development
Strong Critical thinking and analytical skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for the minimum requirements listed.
