Administrative Secretary

Income Tax Office

City of Bowling Green

(Pay Band 2: $21.99 per hour)

This hourly, non-exempt position is responsible for providing overall administrative assistance and support within the Income Tax Office. Oversees the day-to-day operations and activities of the office; interacts with staff, elected officials, and general public; may deal with sensitive and confidential matters; prepares correspondence; establishes and maintains office and filing system; and performs other related duties as assigned. Must have ability to proficiently use job-specific software, such as, Word and Excel. High school diploma or equivalent (2 years of college preferred); three to five years of related experience required. 

Employees accrue vacation leave and sick leave per the administrative code. Employees can participate in group medical, dental and vision coverage, first of the month following employment.
