Career Opportunity
The City of Rossford is currently seeking a full-time experienced Accounting Clerk to join their team. The successful candidate should be a reliable self-starter responsible for completing the following tasks:
- all accounts payable processes;
- zoning permit application processes;
- marina dock rental assignments;
- preparation and dissemination of correspondence, reports and forms;
- establishment and maintenance of filing systems;
- ordering supplies; special projects, as needed.
Requirements include:
- proficiency in MS Office Suite programs;
- ability to use standard business arithmetic and apply mathematical concepts;
- knowledge of basic budgetary principles and practices;
- excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work;
- exceptional written and verbal communication skills;
- ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Candidates should have a high school education or equivalent, associate degree preferred.
- 3-5 years accounts payable experience or any combination of education, training and work experience required.
