Global Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist
WHAT IS THE ROLE
Clear is seeking to hire a Global Talent Acquisition & Development Specialist who is passionate about finding and developing the best candidates to support our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to help transform employee engagement from transactional to strategic. This role is critical and central to Clear's five-year plan and the successful candidate will need to both challenge and sharpen Clear's employee lifecycle while having the practical skills to successfully implement this new strategy in the day to day.
Offices include UK, US, Malaysia, Singapore & Germany. That said, this role has a primary focus on UK and US offices where the majority of colleagues are based.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- You will have the exciting responsibility of leading our global talent strategy, processes and team that ensure Clear has the right people in the right roles at the right time to continue our growth!
- You will be a key member of the global team and collaborate across all levels and departments within the organization to drive change, champion our culture and manage the full cycle of a recruitment process in an efficient and productive manner.
- You will be a self-starter that is able to work both independently and collaborate effectively as part of a team.
- You will be pro-active and pragmatic with the capability to set the agenda, identify focus areas and priorities coupled with the ability to operate in a small business environment where resources are limited and creative problem solving required.
WHAT ARE YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- To manage recruitment initiatives and processes for all roles across the UK and US businesses establishing the appropriate M&C internal and external partnerships to access diverse talent across all levels and roles.
- To evolve the talent acquisition model from operational recruiting to an integrated/optimized model with strategic workforce planning, employment branding, candidate relationship management, and robust talent acquisition programs.
- To build and manage an effective, metrics-driven DEI recruiting platform, including comprehensive Candidate Tracking, Interview Training, and Performance Metrics designed to support global Talent Acquisition initiatives and meet our short term and long term diversity benchmarks.
- To champion and support global DEI initiatives in all aspects of the hiring process, from content of job descriptions, training for hiring managers, formulation of interview panels as well as candidate experience leading into measurable improvement in availability and selection of diverse candidates into the organization.
- To work closely with Managing Directors to create a consistent and equitable appraisal program, mapping goals and performance with compensation.
- Work with Managers to drive tailored, development plans and succession planning for key performers within the business
- To create and foster a collaborative, inspiring and high performance culture across offices as we move to a more global model, setting stretching performance benchmarks and rapidly addressing any instances of poor performance.
- To stay informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to be competitive in state-of-the-art recruiting practices, initiatives, and processes for all roles across the UK and US businesses.
- To ensure the Clear brand is well-represented in the right places and platforms to elevate our brand awareness and reputation in the marketplace through leading employer branding and social media strategy efforts
- To establish an ongoing training, development, and education program for managers by conducting a needs assessment and aligning those needs with a variety of comprehensive training programs that will elevate the employee experience.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
- Minimum 5-7 years' experience managing a global recruiting strategy
- Full- lifecycle Corporate Recruiting, including, but not limited to: Candidate Sourcing & Assessment, Job Analysis, Wage & Salary Trends, Engagement, Retention and Performance Management
- Successful experience building and managing a Diversity & Inclusion Program
- Basic understanding of US Federal and State labor laws, UK Labor laws and Immigration as it relates to hiring and a thorough working knowledge of Human Resource administration in multinational and multicultural environment.
- Experience working in a SME business environment
- Experience working with HR technology including applicant tracking systems, human capital management systems, NetSuite and Office365 preferred
- Experience in marketing and/or creative industries (specifically branding, design, insight, innovation, strategy) a plus
- Experience working in a standalone role or within a small HR team with strong problem-solving skills to accurately define obstacles, identify relevant factors, recognize alternatives and formulate logical conclusions.
- Proficiency in effective sourcing strategies using LinkedIn, digital tools and other technologies
