Clinicians-Valley
Denali Family Services is seeking a full-time Clinician. The Clinician provides direct and indirect clinical services to Severely Emotionally Disturbed (SED) children and their families, and provides clinical oversight to Case Managers, Behavioral Health Associates, and treatment foster care providers.
This position is responsible for observing policies, procedures and safeguards to protect the privacy of health information in compliance with the HIPAA Privacy (Privacy Rule).
Essential Functions of the Position:
- Provide continual clinical oversight to children and families with an external clinician at least twice per month.
- Complete initial and annual comprehensive mental health assessments following agency guidelines.
- Develop service plans through team collaboration that clearly define consumer goals, interventions, service outcomes, safety plans, visitation plans and discharge plans quarterly following agency guidelines.
- Provide psychiatric and rehabilitative services to individuals, families and groups in the clinic, in consumer homes and in the community for approximately 24 hours of service.
- Actively provide clinical leadership of treatment team meetings and lead clinical oversight of the team.
- Document all services provided to consumers in a timely manner.
- Interface with local service providers on a regular basis.
- Participate in required agency trainings and meetings.
- Actively participate in weekly supervision with Clinical Director.
- Maintain all confidentiality laws and follow all mandatory reporting laws.
- Provide clinical support in acute crisis situations.

Must have a Master's degree from an accredited college or university in social work, human services, psychology, or a closely related field and two (2) years professional experience in family and children services which included working with people identified with developmental disabilities and/or as severely emotionally disturbed.
