Senior Technical Sales Consultant Latin America Government / Telecommute Opportunity
Entrust Datacard Corporation is seeking a full-time Sr. Technical Sales Consultant Latin America Government at our offices in Shakopee, Minnesota. The primary responsibility of the Sr. Technical Sales Consultant Latin America Government is to coordinate business development and technical pre-sales activities in the government ID market for the Latin America and Caribbean region. This position imparts industry, technical and product knowledge directly to governments, as well as to distributors, integrators, and consortium partners, and assists in all levels of technical account planning to support and drive the successful achievement of sales targets and customer base growth. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related field, plus five (5) years of experience in a Secure ID sales engineering or related occupation in a computer engineering, information systems environment. Experience must include five (5) years of experience, which may be concurrent, in all of the following:
1) analyzing technical needs of existing and potential government customer opportunities and conveying a company's ability to deliver Secure ID solutions via in-person, as well as remote presentations, demonstrations, and sales calls; creating and utilizing Virtual Machine (VM) environments in support of same;
2) assisting in the deployment of a managed ePassport ID solution, including both the Basic Access Control (BAC) and Extended Access Control (EAC) solutions for electronic passports;
3) promoting PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) solutions, and the underlying encryption and certificate management processes that support them, including electronic signing and public/private certificate processes including CSCA, CRL, DS, and supporting HSM (Hardware Security Modules) and Key Management practices;
4) working closely with, or serving as, bid manager for government bid responses by assigning and coordinating responses among global team members and in corporation with other consortium bidding partners to manage provision of final solution set; and
5) utilizing technologies for solution architecture design and presentation, including Oracle and SQL databases; HTML, Java, and .Net applications; and visual diagramming tools such as Visio (or equivalent) to create customer-specific Solution Architecture and Workflows.
May telecommute from any location in the U.S. Domestic and international travel required 60% of the time. All experience may have been gained concurrently. Experience must have been acquired after completion of the Bachelor's degree program.
