Job Summary: The Computer & Information Systems Technical Support Specialist is responsible for and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs, and timelines. Manages the implementation and maintenance of our company's computing needs. Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as electronic data processing, information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming.

- Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements
- Direct daily operations of department, analyzing workflow, establishing priorities, developing standards, and setting deadlines
- Stay abreast of advances in technology
- Provide users with technical support for computer problems
- Review and approve all systems charts and programs prior to their implementation
- Evaluate the organization's technology use and needs, recommend improvements, and develop test strategies, such as hardware and software
- Analyze business requirements by partnering with key stakeholders across the organization to develop solutions for IT needs
- Meet with managers, supervisors, vendors, and others, to solicit cooperation and resolve problems
- Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
- Help define IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to internal IT
- 1-2 years+ technical experience/similar role
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- Experience leading and managing large IT projects and rolling out IT infrastructures across various technologies
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills
- Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize
- Firm grasp on IT infrastructure and operations best practices
- Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Software and Hardware Knowledge
- Strong knowledge and experience with computer hardware (PC, laptops, mobile devices) and operating systems (Win7/10)
- Computer servers, File servers, Workstations, Laser Printers,
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server operating systems and Active Directory and administration
- Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Outlook, AutoCAD, and other software as needed
Work Environment:
- Professional business-casual office environment
- Full-time position, 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- 10% of customers on-site visits
