Outside Machine Sales
Summary
This primarily purpose of the Outside Machine Sales position is to execute sales strategy, initiate contact with existing and potential customers, identify needs and sell appropriate equipment to meet those needs. This is accomplished by building relationships with customers and potential customers. Extensive travel required. Salary plus commission. Car or car allowance.
Essential Functions

Manage assigned accounts and/or territory

Generate Sales leads

Follow-up on quotations and provide feedback to management on order probabilities, possible actions, and competitive references for future quotations

Call prospective customers and establish buying cycles, customer needs, and create customer supplier relationship

Increase sales in respective accounts

Prepare sale information for customers

Establish contact lists including influences, decision makers and enter into CRM. This should include any applicable customer customs, buying tendencies, etc.

Maintain travel expenses within budget unless otherwise approved.

Provide sales call reports to management

Secure and place order taking into consideration delivery dates and inventory levels for fulfillment.

Required Education and Experience

A Technical Associates Degree minimum, Bachelor’s preferred.

2 years field sales experience.

Either glass factory experience or machine sales experience desired.
