Gravity Resources is excited to be hiring multiple Robotic Weld Technicians in Toledo, OH.

We offer competitive pay based on experience. Pay rates range from $28-$33/hr.

Job Summary -Setup, operate or tend welding machines or robots that weld metal products, components, or assemblies.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

-Setup, operate, or tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies.

-Inspect, measure & test completed metal workpieces to ensure conformance to specification using measuring and testing devices.

-Correct problems by adjusting control or by stopping machines and opening safety holding device.

-Utilize LOTO while performing service duties on welding or mechanical machines. -Give directions to other workers regarding machine setup and use.

-Clean, lubricate, maintain, and adjust equipment to maintain efficient operation, using air hoses, cleaning fluids, and hand tools. -Conduct trial runs before putting machines into productions to perform any necessary adjustments to equipment.

-Observe meters, gauges, or machine operations to ensure that the processes are meeting specifications. -Compute and record settings for new work; applying knowledge of metal properties, principles or welding, and shop mathematics.

-Start, monitor, and adjust robotic production lines.

-Modify computer-controlled robot movements.

-Perform preventive or corrective maintenance on robotic systems or machines.

-Evaluate the efficiency and reliability of industrial robotic systems, reprogramming or calibrating to achieve maximum quantity and quality. -Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

-Authority to stop production in the event unsafe parts or conditions appear.

-Performs other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor and/or manager, which may be outside the scope of responsibilities noted above.

-Troubleshoot and find issues within the robotic and welding environment.

Preferred Experience

-Prefer at least two (2) years of progressive weld experience (MIG, TIG, etc.)

-Prefer at least one (1) year of progressive robotic experience (Programming, adjustments, etc.)

Required Skills

-Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.

-Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

-Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems. -Familiar with calipers, micrometers, filler gauges
