Mission: To inspire health and healing by putting patients first - Always. Great Plains Health is seeking multiple Psychiatrists to provide medical services to child and adolescent patients in North Platte & the surrounding region. Provide outpatient psychiatric services to child and adolescent patients and inpatient psychiatric services to adult patients, as needed, through Hospital's inpatient & outpatient areas and as outreach services. Diagnose & treat mental, behavioral, & emotional disorders in adults, children, & adolescents. Analyze & evaluate patient data & test findings to diagnose extent of disorders. Prescribe, direct, & administer psychotherapeutic treatments & medications. Provide documentation & diagnosis for coding, including dictation of evaluations, and diagnostic consultations to Hospital medical staff/staff referrals. Perform medical audits & prepare records. Provide clinical supervision of non-medical professional staff. Participate in educational programs & Hospital committees & in review/revision of policies, procedures, rules, & regulations for service area. May provide services in outreach clinics in neighboring counties.
Full-time (40 hours/week w/on-call & weekend duties).
Requires MD or ECFMG equivalent, 4-year residency in Psychiatry & 2-year fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, BC in Psychiatry, BC or BE in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry, & current Nebraska Medical License.
