Interior Designer
Heather Hilliard Design, a well-established high-end residential interior design firm, seeks talented, experienced (3-4 years), creative, and passionate Interior Designer or Project Manager who shares our commitment to excellence. The candidate will collaborate closely with a Senior Designer on design, management, and execution of large-scale residential design projects from initial concept to construction and installation of interiors. The position will work in tandem with a Senior Designer in sourcing materials, fixtures, fabrics, furnishings and resources.
The right person for this job displays initiative and contributes in a significant and visible way to every phase of the design process, from initial concept to installation. You must enjoy thinking on your feet, taking responsibility, being a team player, and be interested in career growth.

Requirements:
* Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills
* Self-starter, motivated, organized, detail-oriented, talented, creative, and diligent
* Ability to work on multiple projects efficiently under deadlines in a fast-paced, busy, and creative atmosphere
* Degree in Interior Architecture and Design or Architecture
* 3+ years of high-end residential interior design experience at a design or architecture firm
* Excellent skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, InDesign, Excel, Microsoft Office. Proficiency in Design Manager or similar software program a plus.
* Hand sketching a plus!
* Experience in developing and maintaining interiors drawing sets including furniture and lighting plans, elevations, tile and stone layouts, and millwork details
* Maintain FFE schedules, issue specifications for lighting, materials and millwork, and execute orders with work rooms, vendors and subcontractors.
* Able to produce, track and maintain spreadsheets, budgets, quotes, proposals, purchase orders
* Liaise with suppliers and vendors
* Demonstrate knowledge of high-end design
* Familiarity with commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the field of interior design and architecture
* Knowledge of SF Design Center showrooms and local vendors and fabricators
* Possess finesse and decorum in communicating project status to maintain expectations
* Candidate must be able to hit the ground running proactively in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work in the United States
