Qualifications: Registered Nurse with current licensure in good standing to practice in the state of Ohio Professional, problem solver Advanced clinical skills EMR experience; McKesson software experience preferred. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Must posses positive, enthusiastic attitude. Excellent people skills. Ability to multi task. Exceptional communication skills with focus on quality patient care and customer satisfaction. Is flexible, cooperative, and a team player in fulfilling all obligations. Knowledge of PPS. Excellent knowledge of OASIS Assessment. Excellent knowledge of State and Federal Home Health regulations.
Position Responsibilities: Assumes the authority, responsibility, and accountability of managing the corporate QA department. Supervision and management of Corporate QA nursing staff and local branch nursing staff Performs performance reviews for staff. Mentors, coaches, and delivers disciplinary action as needed. Clinical support for office staff, clinical teams, QA and external coding vendor, marketers, and Administrators, and other corporate office managers/directors. Triage clinical calls, give direction and provide clinical support. Assure that all State and Medicare surveys are handled per company policy and that plan of correction is completed, submitted timely, implemented and monitored for effectiveness. OBQI Lead - responsible for outcome management and improvement.
o Monitor outcomes, episode management, utilization, Analyzer and Oasis tracker reports.
o Development and implementation of plan of action to improve clinical outcomes and episode management.
Maintain the Administrative On-Call schedule. Assist in the development and delivery of educational programs revolving around all components of QA, including orientation for new employees and reeducation of staff as necessary. Evaluate and assist in implementing patient teaching material/programs that incorporate disease management. Develop, review and update Clinical Policy and Procedure Manual. Maintain current knowledge of Oasis, PPS, homecare and nursing practice regulations and assure company compliance. Contribute to and participate in yearly reviews and counseling of clinical field team when necessary. Assist in continued growth, development, and improvement of all QA, Coding, and Oasis extract processes. Participate in administrative on call rotation Assist with coordination and presentation of PAC meetings for all offices. Responsible for assisting in development, monitoring, and oversight of all current and new Clinical Programs. (example; flu program, pandemic and emergency plans, wound care program, clinical equipment, clinical supply formulary, clinical competency and orientation programs, disease management programs) Complete projects as assigned by Supervisor. Perform duties of Regional Clinical Supervisor when needed.
