Sr Sales Mgr, Automotive Components Division (Novi, MI) Mng & direct sales & tech supp of HML’s & HMA’s casting products to US auto industry. Mng commercial reqts fr sales programs, from prototype to production. Dvlp & execute sales strategies & programs, maintaining & expanding sales revenue & profit by cultivating new & existing business opps. Supervise 1 Sales Rep. Determine product needs, promote products.
Mng & review requests fr quotes (RFQ), pricing, & mktg. Dvlp quotes & negotiate sales contracts & vendor/supplier agreements. Procure outside components & svcs. Mng supply chain partners. Oversee design & implement of program & product launches. Coordinate w/ R&D & engg about tech reqts & issues. Serve as liaison b/w customers & vendors/suppliers/factories.
Network w/ customer base, suppliers, & partner companies. Oversee analysis of sales forecasts & overall mkt trends. Budget & provide forecasts to mngmnt. Provide tech supp to HMA sales force. Make recs relating to specific apps of casting metal materials. Reqts: Bachelor’s or equiv in any field, & 4 yrs exp in position offered or related, incl 4 yrs exp w/: Material handling/customer svc at Foundry (casting components); Production planning at Foundry (casting components); Export/Import product mngmnt incl inventory mngmnt; mktg fr Auto – Casting products/Exhaust Components; OEM Direct Sales account mngmnt;
