Roles and Responsibilities:
Lead SME on infrastructure automation, cloud integration, and execution of technical operations procedure development and execution. This position will work closely with developers, DBAs, QA, and project managers throughout the software lifecycle in delivering best in class technical infrastructure to support external product delivery
Qualifications• Automation (Infrastructure as code, patching, release management, etc.)• Drive the development, execution, and support of Infrastructure release management and operations• Protect the stability of the infrastructure (i.e. consistency of builds and processes, reporting, monitoring, proactive tasks)• Develop, monitor, anda report upon KIPs for Infrastructure health and security• Ensure SLAs and OLAs are met or exceeded• Enhance/extend a configuration/deployment/monitoring framework in partnership with Site Reliability Engineer(s)• Work with NoSQL Datastores (such as MongoDB) and Microsoft SQL• Leverage with Platforms as a Service such as AWS, Cloud Foundry, OpenShift, etc.• Interact with customers and development team to gather and define requirements and document architecture and approach• Follows a formal design process using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and also adheres to regulations, standards, and established guidelines for development and delivery within area of responsibility• Deploy and manage a DevOps pipeline using tools such as; Ansible Tower, Jenkins, and Docker• Participate in the planning and design of Engineering infrastructure projects• Provides off-hours support for critical applications as required

• Team player, able to interface with highly technical SME’s across multiple disciplines to reach best-in-class solutions• B.S in Computer Science or related technical major, or commensurate experience• 2-3 years managing direct reports and/or project / implementation teams• 7+ years Systems/Infrastructure engineering experience with at least 5 year Devops and at least 4 years’ experience in Windows Server/AD and Linux administration• Minimum 4 years working experience with AWS technologies• Proficiency in at least 1 programming language (i.e. Python, Ruby, Java, C#, C++, etc)• Proficiency in Ansible, Terraform, or other configuration management and centralized configuration tools (applications, software, IaaS)• Hands on experience with CI and Build tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, etc.• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail; mission-critical production support experience• Strong written and verbal communication skills and experience in working effectively in cross-functional team• Experience with database systems (MySQL and/or SQL Server)• Experience with Enterprise SIEM tools like Splunk, Nagios, etc.• Location: Sunnyvale, CA, Santa Barbara, CA, Norcross, GA, Raligh, NC• Travel: <15%
