Executive Director
Keep Toledo/Lucas County Beautiful, Inc. has an opening for an Executive Director.
Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, plan, coordinate and manage education/awareness activities/programs as well as recycling and litter prevention projects on behalf of organization with staff and any other applicable entities.
- Coordinate Lucas County Solid Waste Management programs on behalf of the District with KT/LCB, District and any other appropriate entities.
- Coordinate programs/events/strategies with applicable Lucas County and City of Toledo-Divisions and/or Departments.
- Seek funding options via partnerships, grants, donations, etc. and establish fund-raising goals.
- Report to KT/LCB Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Chair.
- Supervise employees and volunteers.
- Manage payroll reporting, other HR matters, and fiscal management of the organization.
- Represent KT/LCB through continuation of relationships with local officials, businesses, community groups and media.
- Responsible for developing a marketing plan for print, broadcast, social media outlets and education programs to enhance vital messages regarding solid waste handling practices that are in keeping with the mission of KT/LCB.
- Prepare oral and visual presentations to various groups and schedule/attend meetings as required to deliver such presentations.
- Prepare program plans, goals, objectives, budgets and other materials as needed.
- Write news releases and coordinate press conferences/special events.
- Attend community events and meetings for KT/LCB to promote the organization.
- Attend workshops and seminars as needed.
- Prepare and submit updates, reports, grant applications as needed and required.
- Perform other duties as specified.
