Briefing and Discovery Attorney
Our small downtown Dallas law firm is seeking an attorney who enjoys drafting documents, and reviewing and summarizing evidence, related to a civil rights litigation practice. The civil rights portion of our practice is devoted to representing those injured as a result of excessive force, denial of medical care, and denial of mental health care by police officers and/or jailers. We also represent families for wrongful death and survival claims arising from such constitutional rights violations.
The ideal candidate enjoys and has an aptitude for the written word. Duties would include drafting discovery objections and responses, motions (and responses), letters, and other case-related documents, as well as being responsible for managing pre-litigation matters. The position also involves review and summary of voluminous evidence (documents, audio recordings, and video recordings).
