Service & Support Specialist
An employee in this classification is responsible for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in determining and pursuing life goals, and maintaining the individual focus and coordinating services and supports across multiple systems, while functioning as the Board’s primary point of coordination for each person on his/her caseload.
Education:
Bachelor degree in Social Work, Counseling or related area from an accredited college or university. Master degree preferred.
Investigative Agent
An employee in this classification, under the supervision of the MUI Coordinator, is responsible for investigating Major Unusual Incidents (MUI) in accordance with applicable law and regulations, involving persons with developmental disabilities.
Education:
Bachelor degree required.
Lucas County Board of Developmental Disabilities has an excellent opportunity for a Service and Support Specialist (SSA) to assess needs of individuals with developmental disabilities, develop and monitor service plans, and ensure that services are effectively coordinated and provided.
