8:00-4:30 pm Monday-Friday; $32.82 - $47.25 /hourly; $68,528 - $98,658 /annually

Oversee the delivery of the agency's Business Development programs. Direct, monitor, evaluate and report on all aspects of the agency's business development program. Monitor and maintain the agency's loan portfolio. Administer, coordinate and develop the agency's activities related to business development under guidance of the Executive Director of Development. Take a lead role in reviewing and evaluating applications for financing and make recommendations to the Executive Director of Development. Assist the Executive Director of Development in managing the agency's loan program in accord with agency and state policies, laws and regulations. Prepare and/or review legal documents for approved projects. Supervise personnel and assist in the formation and coordination of economic development initiatives and business outreach efforts in the agency's service area.

Minimum Qualifications

* BA/BS in business, finance, economics, accounting or related field.
* Three years supervisory or lead work experience.
& Five years of advanced professional experience in contract administration including private and/or public sector lending that includes decision-making regarding financial feasibility in both commercial and real estate loans.
* Advanced working knowledge of banking practices and debt management sufficient to manage significant and complex debt structures within federal, state and private sector lending practices and programs.
* Thorough understanding of collection procedures and legal remedies available to creditors in order to protect the interests of the State in the resolution of workout loans.
* Practical experience in the areas of debt management, governmental financing and budgeting, state laws and the management of financial programs.
* Strong written and oral communication skills that demonstrate the ability to make effective presentations before government officials, business leaders, and other groups and to be able to explain and defend decisions.
* Exceptional organizational skills sufficient to independently plan, prioritize, and carry out multiple elements of job responsibilities with limited management oversight.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others in a team setting and sufficient to work with a variety of clients, including attorneys, bond consultants, financial institution employees and agency managers and staff, coordinating and facilitating work of diverse teams and groups.
