Water Quality Field Technician I
The Northwestern Water and Sewer District will be accepting applications until October 4, 2024 for the position of full-time Water Quality Field Technician I. Wage is $26.97 per hour plus additional pay for EPA licensure plus benefits. Performs a variety of water quality duties including addressing water quality issues, leak detection, cross connection surveys, water main flushing, sampling and testing. High school diploma or GED and five (5) years’ experience in water distribution and/or water treatment. Ability to read and write common vocabulary. Possess operator certification Class I Water Distribution and Backflow Prevention within one year and recommend obtaining Class I Water Treatment within one year. This position will perform work duties in a variety of weather conditions. Must obtain a CDL during the probationary period. The District offers paid training for licensures, added compensation for OEPA licenses and tuition assistance for this position.
