Senior Engineering Specialist

Owens Corning Composite Materials, LLC seeks Senior Engineering Specialist in Toledo, OH to be responsible for Safety, Quality & Productivity improvement by focusing on-Line utilization, process capability & product quality & performing root cause analysis of losses.

Requirements: Bachelor’s or foreign equiv in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field & 3 years of experience in job offered or related occupation: performing deep dive in chronic process issues & eliminating them from recurring utilizing Root Cause Analysis tools including Causelink; conducting identification of hazards & risk mitigation to improve employee safety thru hazard recognition & control specialization; possessing sound knowledge of using Minitab & SAP for data analysis & deriving precise conclusions; conducting project management utilizing tools such as MS Project for completing projects on time & utilizing effective resource utilization; & changing workplace culture & focus towards continuous improvement & standardization thru exposure to TPM methodology. Telecommuting &/or work from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site.
