The leadership of New Concepts is seeking experienced, communicative, and compassionate therapists to join our team to support our clients' physical, emotional, and mental well-being as they learn to manage their mental health or substance use disorder. In this role, you are expected to work directly with clients to actively listen to problems and concerns and suggest healthy and productive coping techniques to address their issues. This role requires someone who enjoys working closely with adults or youth, and their families. All interested candidates should be comfortable with the dynamics of individual, family, and group counseling.
Expected core competencies are trans-disciplinary foundations, understanding addiction, application to practice, treatment knowledge, and professional readiness.
Practice dimensions include clinical evaluation (screening/assessment), treatment planning, service coordination, counseling, documentation, and familiarity with professional and ethical responsibilities.
Starting salary: $52,000-$55,000
