Director-Product Design & Development, Plastic Omnium Auto Inergy, Troy, MI. Plan, lead & assure psgr vehicle fuel tank engineering & manufacturing development & current production program management including technical engineering & sales in NA/SA Regions for OEM customers. Plan, manage & lead engineering specification & procurement of dedicated machines & flexible robotic automation for boring & welding fuel tank shells, part transfer automation, vapor line, heat shield, fuel pump assembly machines & precision helium based, leak testing machines, including automation as required to pack parts into engineered storage containers. Act as principal point of customer contact for NA/SA fuel tanks, including blow-molded plastic multilayer Fuel Tank Systems made of HDPE, to meet PZEV, LEVII & Japanese regulations. Lead & mentor engineering/production team of Program/Sales Managers, in development to production & high volume supply of Energy blow-molded, corrosion resistant plastic fuel tank systems with co-extruded, multilayer structures including various layers; PZEV Fuel Tank Systems; TSBM; Fuel Tank Systems for Hybrids; Blow molded plastic filler pipes including filler heads; & INBAFFLE. Bachelor, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering. 60 months experience as Program Manager, Director, or related, managing & leading product development processes to bring robotic & flexible automation, industrial cleaning, assembly machine & testing equipment to production including managing program timing, deliverables & profitability, or related.
