Advocate Area Agency on Aging & Disability Southeast Tennessee Development District Collaborative Response to Elder and Vulnerable Adult Abuse (CREVAA) Advocate Area Agency on Aging & Disability Southeast Tennessee Development District The Southeast Tennessee Development District is seeking a Collaborative Response to Elder and Vulnerable Adult Abuse (CREVAA) Advocate. Applicant will be responsible for the implementation and coordination of the CREVAA program to eligible clients in the AAAD’s planning and service area of Southeast Tennessee.
Responsibilities include accepting referrals, screening elder and vulnerable adult victims of crime for emergency and long-term services, education, outreach, data collection and reporting. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), be able to maintain confidential information, able to work independently and with a team. Must be well-organized and capable of self-direction. Must be able to work with diverse populations and multiple community partners. Candidate should have an undergraduate degree from a four-year college or university and have at least one year of experience in social services, gerontology or closely related field, and at least one year of experience providing case management to clients.
