Position Summary:
The Attorney/National Partnership Manager reports directly to the Managing Attorney assisting him with the firm's legal needs, risk management, compliance, and coordination with remote firm partners and members' offices.
Principal Duties:
- Effectively establish and maintain relationships with co-workers, co-counsel, clients and vendors
- Monitor individual litigation matters to limit risk and provide superior service to our clients
- Assist and provide administrative support to Managing Attorney in managing firm advertising filings with the various state bars and maintain records of same
- Provide contract drafting support to others as necessary
- Report on marketing campaign performance and provide support on inventory valuation
- Maintain Due Diligence files on Co-Counsel including current proof of malpractice insurance
- Maintain contractual, corporate and litigation records
- Document all procedures and procedure modifications for tasks relative to job Duties
- Train new team members or current team members on new process
- And other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Admitted to and in good standing with the Rhode Island Bar.
- 1-3 years of experience; knowledge of contracts and personal injury litigation and/or experience as a paralegal or legal assistant helpful
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite
- Communicate effectively with co-workers, clients, courts and attorneys
- Team player with the ability to take initiative and work independently when required
- Maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail
