High School Special Education Substitute Teachers
Reports To:
Building Principals regarding day-to-day job responsibilities
Director of Pupil Personnel regarding all special education issues (paperwork, programming, compliance of mandates, procedures, etc.)
Qualifications:
1. Valid Pennsylvania teaching certificate
2. Special Education Certification N-12 or 7-12
3. Preferred Certification in Secondary English
4. 3.0 or higher QPA
5. Proof of ongoing professional or educational experience
6. Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
7. Experience in utilization computer/technology literacy-SMART Boards, Laptops, iPADS, Apps, etc.
8. Experience in collecting and analyzing Progress Monitoring Data
9. Experience with the Co-Teaching Model, Inclusion Practices, Differentiation Strategies
10. Experience with Academic, Emotional, Social, and Behavioral interventions
11. Experience in the use special education data management software
12. Experience with Universal Design of Learning (UDL)
