Sales Engineer
Systems Associates Inc. (SAI) is seeking a highly motivated Sales Professional who is interested in pursuing business relationships with top-level executives!
SAI has been a provider of turn-key building automation systems for over 40 years. These systems include controls for HVAC, hotel room thermostats, lighting, and commercial irrigation. Our customers range from hotels, office buildings, schools, college campuses, and factories.
Position Overview:
The Sales Engineer is responsible for maintaining relationships with our current customers; as well as creating new sales opportunities and cultivating new relationships with potential customers.
Responsibilities:
• Provide accurate and clearly documented estimates & proposals
• Assist with estimates, walk-throughs, and field surveys
• Review project specifications and control schematics
• Collaborate with internal staff to deliver quality results
• Occasional travel to a prospect/customer location within the U.S.
Experience/Qualifications:
• Excellent communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Building Automation and/or HVAC experience
• Understanding of project drawings and specifications
• Salesforce experience a plus
• B2B sales experience required.
Education/Certifications:
• Degree in engineering, business, or a related discipline preferred.
