We are seeking a communications professional at the Senior Account Manager level who:
- Has demonstrated experience leading projects and implementing communication programs
- Is familiar with strategic communications planning and can develop and implement communication plans and draft messaging
- Knows how to deliver exceptional client service and form lasting relationships with clients
- Is Proficient with time management and enjoys managing multiple assignments at the same time
- Can work under pressure of tight deadlines and for clients who rely on our sense of urgency
- Takes complete ownership and is accountable for workstreams and deliverables
- Has curiosity and experience adapting plans to leverage new technologies as well as traditional channels
- Builds a strong rapport and partnership with the team and clients, anticipates needs and quickly becomes a trusted go-to resource for team members and clients
- Has a get-it-done mindset and a strong bias for action
While strong internal/employee communications experience is a definite plus, we're open to considering candidates also with strong experience in public relations or corporate communications who can apply relevant experiences to the internal communications discipline and ramp up quickly. - 5-7 years or more related experience in the corporate world of communications, especially internal communications and leadership communications
- Agency experience working in either internal communications, corporate communications, public relations and/or strategic communications agencies
- Must be able to work full-time (40-50 hours per week) and is able to travel for business when needed, including possible international travel on occasion (travel averages about 15% based on client and business needs)
- This position is based in Chicago at our office
