Medical Assistant

Local general surgery practice searching for a friendly, motivated and reliable full-time Medical Assistant to aide in the examination and treatment of patients. This person will be responsible for various clinical and clerical duties including rooming patients, taking vitals, maintaining patient records, explaining common medical procedures to patients, assisting in basic examinations, answering phones, checking patients in and out for their appointments and scheduling surgical procedures. Some experience necessary. Certification is preferred but not required.
