Under limited supervision, the Assistant Director of Safety performs all duties associated with employee and facility safety compliance. Responsibilities include performing all OSHA related staff training, first aid/CPR staff training, safety audits, emergency planning procedures spearheads Safety Committee and coordinates Drug-Free Workplace Program and training. Also supervises contracted EMT/Paramedics and maintains the first aid stations on grounds. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field with two years formal training in an Occupational Health and Safety field. Prefer two years of actual work experience in a related field. Must have a valid drivers’ license and be insurable by the fleet insurance carrier.
