• Associate or Advanced Assistant Professor- The University of Toledo's Department of Political Science and Public Administration is reconstituting its MPA program after a period of hiatus due to faculty retirements. As part of our rebuilding process, we seek an energetic and dynamic scholar, at the advanced Assistant Professor (tenure-track) or Associate Professor (tenured) level, with the ability and willingness to teach graduate courses in public management, nonprofit management, or budgeting. This exciting opportunity is planned to be the first of two hires over two years and these positions will complement the strengths of existing faculty in the areas of public policy, urban politics, and urban planning. We are open to candidates who do research in a variety of related areas (e.g. urban studies or data analytics). The ability to offer other non-duplicative public administration courses is also desired.
• Assistant Professor-  The University of Toledo College of Medicine and Life Sciences (COMLS) invites applications for faculty positions in the Physician Assistant Studies program. Review of applications will begin immediately and will continue until the positions are filled. These positions provide an opportunity for highly motivated individuals who are committed to student success, academic excellence and advancement of the Physician Assistant (PA) profession, to join the PA Studies Program at the University of Toledo as an integral component of the foundational team. Working with the Program faculty and staff, this individual will assist in the implementation of the PA Studies Program, with a focus on teaching and supporting a transformative student experience within a unique modular curriculum during the didactic and clinical phases of the program.
