Systems Engineer
SYSTEMS ENGINEER
The University of Findlay (www.findlay.edu) is seeking a full-time systems engineer, responsible for effective planning, provisioning, installation / configuration, operation, monitoring, and maintenance of enterprise systems and infrastructure.
The position requires a high school diploma, with 5+ years IT server/storage/network administration, including in-depth knowledge of enterprise systems architecture, and IT security frameworks. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in a technology related field; MCSE, MCSA, Cisco CCNP certification; experience with vSphere ESXi, Windows Server, RedHat Linux, Cisco/Brocade/Aruba Networking, iSCSI FCoE SAN Storage; experience with VoIP, SIP Trunks, ISDN, PSTN voice technologies; ability and willingness to stay current with new technologies; and ability to alter planned activities in order to accommodate new or changed situations.
