The Division of Gastroenterology has an excellent opportunity for an Administrative Specialist to serve as the executive assistant to the Division Head and manage divisional communications efforts.
The Division Head represents the University of Washington in many capacities regionally, nationally, and internationally. The Administrative Specialist works directly with the Division Head to ensure policy compliance in a variety of areas, and has a direct impact on the integrity and quality of the Division's programs. The Division shares the University's missions of teaching, research and service. A fundamental part of fulfilling those missions is communicating with numerous constituencies. The Administrative Specialist ensures that this is done in a manner that is consistent with the University's mission of maintaining integrity, veracity, accuracy, and honesty. The Administrative Specialist shares responsibility for ensuring that the reputation of the Division and University are maintained to the highest standard.
Responsibilities include:
Website, Print and Communications Management
Executive Assistant to the Division Head
Space and related operations management

REQUIREMENTS:
Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
