Harborview Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for a 100% Full-Time Mental Health Practitioner with the Vital Team. Under general supervision of the Mental Health Practitioner Clinical Supervisor and Manager, this position provides intensive engagement, behavioral health care-management, linkage and therapy services for individuals treated by the Vital team. This program provides intensive case-management services to high utilizers of King County Jail as part of a multi-program and multidisciplinary team. The position will report to the Vital team supervisor and the HMHAS Clinical Supervisor and Manager.
This position will provide assertive outreach, engagement and treatment services, to Vital clients as provide linkage and coordination with on-going services at HMHAS. The MHP will be expected to be able to work with a wide variety of patients and be sensitive to the culture, religion, language, age, gender, and sexual orientation of the clients we serve.

Equivalent education/experience will substitute for all minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license/certification/registration.
DESIRED:
A Master's Degree in behavioral sciences, such as psychology, psychiatric nursing, occupational therapy, vocational or educational counseling, or social work.
Appropriate clinical licensure or registration in the State of Washington.
