The Department offers full diagnostic service in all areas of pathology and is one of the top ranked Departments of Pathology as a recipient of research grant funding National Institutes of Health. Our educational and training programs include the Pathology Residency Training Program, the Molecular Medicine and Mechanisms of Disease Ph.D. and the teaching of medical students, postdoctoral research fellows and clinical fellows.
The Department of Pathology currently has an outstanding opportunity for a PROGRAM ASSISTANT.
The Program Assistant reports to the Education Manager and provides confidential program support to the Pathology Medical Student Clerkships, Residency and Fellowship programs. He/she assists in departmental operations and Pathology’s GME Team communications.
This position also requires excellent communication skills and a demonstrated ability to provide exceptional service to our medical students, residents, fellows and external agencies. This position requires an ability to adjust to rapid changes and multiple demands and requires a high degree of personal initiative, flexibility and personal judgment in all assignments.
As the Program Assistant for the Pathology Clerkships, Residency and Fellowship programs, this position provides information regarding program policies and activities; serves as resource to administrators, faculty and staff regarding interpretation of program policies and procedures.
