Civil Engineer
Civil Engineer (Toledo, OH) Utilize engineering knowledge to provide a variety of client-specific civil engineering consulting services. Complete civil engineering functions and prepare documentation for large construction projects, regulatory program compliance, data management and analysis and field work. Analyze reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics and related topographical and geologic data. Utilize design software to plan transportation system, hydraulic systems and structures in line with industry and government standards. Prepare feasibility studies by analyzing engineering design, conducting environmental impact studies and assembling data. Oversee surveying operations to establish reference points, grades and elevations to guide construction. Present findings on topics such as bid proposals, environmental impact statements or property descriptions. Manage the repair, maintenance and replacement of public and private infrastructures. Monitor project progress, inspect construction site and verify calculations and placements to confirm adherence to construction and safety standards. Minimum of Master's degree in Civil Engineering and one year of related civil engineering experience for large civil construction projects including bridges and culverts required.
